Leonard Cortellino has made an impact on the poker world ever since he first started playing the tournament circuit in 2005. After serving 21 years in the US Naval Service finance division,  Lenny began taking trips to the Foxwoods Poker room in his quest to satellite into the WPT Main Event . He was able to win several entries into the highly regarded tournament that attracted one of the largest fields in WPT history. This was only the start of what has become a quick and illustrious poker career. While eagerly awaiting to play in his first WPT Main Event , Lenny entered the 5k preliminary tournament and came in 1st place for over $377,000. Just one week later , he used his golden ticket for the 10k Championship event and made the final table coming in 6th place for another $276,000. These two events catapulted Lenny into a successful and very consistent poker career. He has since gone on to make another WPT main event final table at Foxwoods in 09' for a 3rd place worth $214,000 along with a 1st place finish at  the Borgata WPT 07' preliminary event picking up another $200,000. Cortellino has garnered the respect of the entire poker world while amassing over 1.3 million in tournament earnings. He is also a prolific cash game specialist who finds success in all areas of poker he involves himself in.

Lenny is an avid sports fan in addtion to his poker interests. He enjoys spending his time with his wife and two daughters while participating in all of their activities.
