How did you get your start in poker?
I started to watch live poker tournaments on TV when I was 14, and I started to play myself when I was 18.
When did you start playing poker seriously?
I started to take poker more seriously when I started to stream a few years ago. Having people see you play makes you want to be as good as you possibly can!
How did your friends and family react when you told them you wanted to play poker for a living?
At first, my family and friends didn’t really believe it was a good idea, but then they gradually started to accept it.
What has been your biggest win to date?
I finished at second place at the Ducati High Roller event in Sao Paolo at the end of November and I won $18,000.
What’s the biggest mistake you’ve ever made in a game?
I once misread a hand while playing live.
Do you play at a lot of live events?
I mostly play online, but I’ve recently started to play at more and more live events, and I’m loving it!
When playing live, have you ever felt that you were treated differently in any way because you’re a woman?
Guys tend to underestimate women in poker, for sure. But it’s actually good for me; it can be an advantage. They try to bluff me a lot, which I’m happy about!
Which poker player would you like to play against the most?
I would love to play against Phil Ivey.
Have you read any poker books?
I haven’t read a lot of books, but I watch a lot of videos online. TournamentPokerEdge.com is my favorite site for videos by pros.
What advice would you give to someone who’s just starting out in poker and wants to get better?
There are a lot of sites where you can see the best players in the world play. Twitch and coaching sites are also very helpful.
Do you see yourself playing poker for the rest of your life?
I will be playing poker for the rest of my life for sure – I’m not sure if it will always be professionally though.
