How do you spend your time when you’re not playing poker?

When not playing poker, most of my free time is spent with my wife and kids. Obviously, with my role at PPI POKER, it’s more than just poker that consumes my work hours. So when I do get some free time, it’s generally family time, which I can’t get enough of. With Eric and Chelsea, I have my hands full, and the wife is expecting in the first week of January. Its a busy time at the big dog’s house.

What achievement are you most proud of?

My biggest poker achievement has been chopping the Sunday Million on Poker Stars two weeks in a row. I think it’s a great accomplishment, and I’m pretty sure I am the only person to have ever done it.

If you could have drinks with anyone that’s ever lived, who would it be?

This is a tough question; it’s so hard to narrow down to one person. I’m not sure if I’d want it to be a historical figure or my favorite sports icon. I guess if I had to choose, I would pick my Dad; I lost him too young and he never had the opportunity to see any of my successes in life. I wish he was here to meet my family and see the things I’ve done. I would do a lot to have drinks with him.

What type of music do you listen to?

I listen to almost anything; it really just depends on my mood on any given day. I will listen to classic rock or Pearl Jam or the Tragically Hip. Sometimes I just want to rock out to the old hair bands of the 80s and sometimes I listen to country music.

What’s your favorite holiday destination?

Finally an easy question – it’s Aruba. I have been there many-many times. It’s my favorite island by far. It’s nice because it’s safe to travel off the resorts. The whole island’s income is based on tourism, so the people are all friendly. The food is also amazing, and it’s not your typical island food. The beaches are white pristine sand. I spent my honeymoon there, and the wife and I have been there three times in the last two years. It’s truly amazing.
