French Canadian Laurence Grondin aka ‘Lady Luck’ is part of the well-known and successful Québec poker community since more than 8 years ago. Her humble beginnings started at $1 Sit & Go tables in 2007 with a $20 bankroll online, which she quickly built up to $500. With this bankroll, she tried her hands at live $20 Sit & Go games where she met players that immediately noticed her talent for the game. Laurence heeded their advice and began playing online full-time.
Most recently, she has become a mid-stakes cash games specialist online at blinds from $1/$2 to $5/$10. She also enjoys playing live tournaments with over $350,000 in winnings. Her biggest score was a 3rd place finish in the $2,000 WSOP main event at Las Vegas in 2009. She is also very active in the live poker scene in Montréal, where you can spot her at numerous live cash game tables.

Laurence is the poker analyst for the European Poker Tour on the French TV sports channel RDS. She occasionally does live streams for various poker tours. Over the years, she has also worked as a poker consultant for numerous poker sites and businesses.
During her spare time, Laurence volunteers at cat shelters in Montréal,Canada where cares for abandoned cats prior to adoption. From all the time she had spent at the shelter studying the behavior of cats, Laurence dedicated her knowledge into her company FelineGood.ca as a cat behaviorist consultant.
Laurence is also actively engaged in yoga and tennis and has even taken up the rather unknown sport of Spikeball.
